LETTER FROM THE CHEF

In 1984 I arrived in San Francisco and was amazed with the beauty of the city. At the time, there were very few places serving Indian cuisine and so I thought that A Desi Cafe as an opportunity to share what I had learned from the culinary masters of India. I worked for 22 years with other restaurants but decided to build a small but quaint family owned restaurant, big enough to fulfill my dreams and satisfy your appetite. I am very honored to be able to bring all of my years of experience to your table. Come eat and enjoy.
